Nexus plans to invest in both technology start-ups as well as companies with business models not driven by technology. The founders of the fund include Naren Gupta, Sandeep Singhal and Suvir Sujan.

The fund has also announced investments in five innovative companies, including $5 million each in Mobile2win, a mobile value-added services company, and DimDim.com, a web collaboration start-up.
