New firefox version out

It may not be the big 3.5 release that everyone's been waiting for, but it's good to know that your net surfing will be a little more secure and bug-free with the new 3.0.10 release. The two new issues that were fixed in this release are:

• Fixed a security issue.
• Fixed a major stability issue.

GMail in Hindi (Reposted)

Google just announced support for 5 Indian languages in GMail. This
was a much awaited feature as Indic transliteration has been available
in blogger and Orkut for more than an year now.
When you compose a new mail in Gmail, you should now see an icon with
an Indian character, as the screenshot below shows. This feature is
enabled by default for Gmail users in India. If you do not see this
function enabled by default, you will need to go the "Settings" page
and enable this option in the "Language" section.

When you click the Indian languages icon, you can type words the way
they sound in English and Gmail will automatically convert the word to
its Indian local language equivalent.

Google on Monday unveiled a new experimental product called Google News Timeline that displays news and related search results on an interactive timeline. 

It offers interesting possibilities for exploring stories, especially older ones, that are largely hidden in newspaper and magazine archives. It is also a powerful way to view trends in culture and society or the careers of famous people.
